The director of the Rostselmash plant is a laureate of the State Prize of the Russian Federation, the National Prize named after Peter Stolypin “Agrarian Elite of Russia” in the nomination “For many years of labor for the development of domestic engineering”, Honorary Citizen of Rostov was born on November 30 in the city of Rostov-on-Don in a working family. Father died in the war.

During parachute jumping, he unsuccessfully landed, received a spinal injury and had to part with the dream of becoming a pilot. The career began in the year at the radiator factory in the instrumental workshop by a Tokar student. He studied at the best turner of the plant. In the same year he entered the evening department of the Rostov Institute of Agricultural Engineering.

In the year he came to Rostselmash and forever connected his life with the factory. He went from the deputy chief mechanic to the director of the Rostselmash plant - on his initiative and personal participation, a new generation of Don was created.

Its name is associated not only by the production of the Niva mass machine, the combine of the Don family, the general reconstruction and equipping with the modern equipment of Rostselmash, but also the updating of more than sixty plants of the former union, which supplied components and nodes. By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR dated June 10, for outstanding production achievements, early fulfillment of the tasks of the eleventh five -year plan and socialist obligations, the merits in the development of the domestic agricultural engineering and the working valor to the general director of the Rostselmash plant, the rank of Socialist Labor was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor with The presentation of the Order of Lenin and the Golden Medal "Sickle and Hammer".

The legendary director of Rostselmash made a great contribution to the development of Rostov-on-Don. Over the 18 years of his leadership, 80 thousand were built for great merits in the development of domestic combination construction, he was also awarded orders: Lenin, the October Revolution, the “sign of honor”, ​​“for merits to the Fatherland” of the III degree, the friendship of peoples, several medals.
