Who did you dream of becoming in childhood? As a child, I dreamed of becoming a teacher. Probably because there were many relatives in this profession. Uncle, Aunts - everyone taught. So I wanted to become a teacher, however, I did not decide the subject, but I had a craving for the exact sciences. Many years have passed since then, I have not become a teacher.

But, as a politician, I often have to be a mentor and share experience with colleagues. The thrust remains to share and maintain. The work of the deputy is not an easy matter. How is your day built, enough time for a hobby, family? I come to work, all meetings, meetings, meetings are painted here. There is a routine in this. But where without her? Cabinet work is also needed: the decision -making speed depends on it.

Often we hold on -site meetings - we try to communicate more with residents. We must get acquainted, learn, be in touch. As for the hobby, in my free time I like to play chess. Chess helped me a lot in life: they develop logic, an analytical mindset. My son and I often play blitz when you need to solve lightning speed. And he began to go to the gym. The body, like the mind, must be kept in shape.

Well, on the weekend I like to spend time with my family. I'm married, I have two children. The son is 17 years old and a daughter-chorus. We have a family tradition - to go to nature. No matter how tired at work, once a month I find time to leave. You go slowly by car, there is tea in the thermos, a basket of food, and native people are nearby. What else is needed for happiness?

What qualities should a good deputy have? First of all, this is a desire to help. The deputy must be responsive, sociable, responsible. He must understand why he was going to this work. It is also important to be able to achieve your goals.

There are serious problems in the work that has to be solved for years. The deputy takes on her and begins to promote: where is her roots, how to eliminate? Group and the ability to achieve their own help. What can you say about this convocation? Our convocation is young - both by age and from experience in politics. Of the 30 deputies, only 13 have already worked in the City Council.

The rest have just started work in this area. It turned out a good alloy: fresh ideas of young deputies and the experience of colleagues from past convocations. The result is obvious - the work goes well. There are many entrepreneurs in this convocation in the City Council. They are distinguished by valuable quality - the habit of working for the result. They are used to the fact that it needs to be done every day, and they know that sometimes to achieve it, you need to spin like a frying pan.

This year, three experienced deputies left the City Council, and in our interests to find them a worthy replacement. The City Council is a collegial body, and the chairman here is the first among equals. So, if one deputy works poorly, the shadow falls throughout the City Council. Was it difficult to transition from business to politics? From for a year, I was a deputy of the District Council of Kinzhingi, deputy chairman.

When I was elected the chairman of the City Council in the year, it was an unexpected turn. For a long time I worked in a commercial structure and then I moved to the other side - I became an official. But that experience affected work well. This affects the little things and gives the result. For example, we reduced the response time to most requests. From 30 days to two weeks.

If you can answer promptly, why should the request lie on the table, and wait for people? Thanks to entrepreneurial experience, we also look at the revenue part in a different way. Now we are asking for contracting organizations that work in Ulan-Ude to register here. So taxes will go to the city budget. It does not require effort, but helps to replenish the treasury.

Regional Telegram channels are reading to you a career of the mayor. Does the plans for the transition to this position? Of course, these are rumors. I have no such intentions. Everyone should do their own business, and representative power is more interesting to me. I would rather go to the People’s Khural, but while I'm here in the City Council. Why make plans so early?

After all, I worked for only two years. There are voters to whom I am responsible and obligations that must be fulfilled. What last event in Ulan-Ude made you? This is probably the installation of the monument to our great fellow countryman Peter Badmaev. His research has made a great contribution to the development of our republic, so it is so important that people know and remember it.

I believe that there should be more such moments - we must perpetuate the memory of our heroes. Not only to erect monuments, but also to call them the names of the street, squares. Do you like the city you are working in now? Of course, this is my hometown. Here I studied, my children live here and grandchildren will live.Every year, Ulan -Ude changes for the better - albeit small steps, but together we make it more beautiful, more comfortable and stronger.

And this motivates to work further and do more. After all, if we do not love and protect our city, who will be? What decision for your political activity are you proud of? The only recreation space here is the railway park. For many years he was desolate. In the year, when I was not a deputy yet, I came in Russian Railways with a proposal to restore the park, and they accepted it. Together we began to restore the park.

We installed a new playground, planted trees and lit the paths. Now there is reconstruction in full swing. Residents are looking forward to the park open for walking. Why am I proud of this decision? The recovery of the park is important for Ulan-Ude, because this is his story, his memory. Parks are light cities, and they need to be protected. As a child, we all wrote letters to Santa Claus and asked him to fulfill his dreams.

And what would you ask him now, knowing that your desire will definitely come true? To go coronavirus. It seems to me that now for humanity it would be the most necessary and important gift.
