French pop singer, composer, musician, actor of American origin. The full name is Joseph Aira Dassen. His father Jules Dassen, a Russian Jew, at that time tried to make an acting career, and his mother, Beatrice Loner, born in Hungary, was a violinist in a women's orchestra.
