Wolfhard Margis Biography
Six months ago, I still thought that I had already discovered and comprehended the basic truths of the New Testament. I believed that the churches should only be correctly proclaimed by the known truth, put it into practice, and then after some time awakening would come by itself. Today, more than ever, I believe that the Lord wants to pour the gospel, His spirit and His life to central Europe and throughout the continent in the near future.
Over time, I had to make an amazing discovery that many enduring truths of the gospel, which are an important prerequisite for awakening, have not yet taken the proper place in both my life and in the church where I serve. But do we know that it is actually grace? Despite this, I needed an additional revelation from the Lord in order to plunge into a new dimension of the entire mysterious depth of grace, in its glorious beauty and especially in its transformative power.
My sermons about the grace that I spoke in the church in the form of rather long series were recorded, and then sent to various Churches of Germany. They really showed me that grace is the truth that is in full still not known. Many Christians wrote or told me that after listening to these sermons, as if scales had fallen from their eyes.
They were surprised that for many years they lived without a deep understanding of grace, and therefore all this time they did not experience it on themselves in its entirety. Indeed, living without grace is very bad, especially when you recognized Jesus, saved by grace and should constantly use it in your life. God wants us to become people of grace and led the life more light and beautiful, which is completely different from the life of the people around us.
But here a rather incredible contradiction arises. We, believers from whom constant walking and life in grace are expected, are valued in God's eyes by how much we really know about it. If we live outside of grace, then this is even more detrimental than when people in the world live without grace, because they do not have the opportunity to live differently. Such a course of events with its ensuing consequences can be most visibly traced in those Christians who are engaged in business.
If, having given their lives to Jesus, they continue to conduct their business in accordance with the old criteria deprived of grace, they become candidates for bankrupt. That is why businessmen almost always born from above experience a deep decline in their business after their appeal and, in many cases, the whole company suffers collapse. This should not happen. God's grace is not given to us so that we will get about it and fail to fail because of our inability to enjoy it.
God's grace is so precious, charming and gives so much enthusiasm and encouragement that if you really realized this, then with great joy you would have seized on it with both hands, and then discovered great blessings in every area of your life of personal, family, social, business, and, of course, primarily in your relationship with God. I write this book with great enthusiasm, since it is unlikely that anything else encouraged me and had a greater influence than God's doctrine of grace.
We must immediately catch up with this obvious omission in understanding and putting into practice grace in the body of Christ. We cannot allow ourselves a day of following the Lord without knowledge of what grace is. So many Christians live in the principles of legalism and non -literacy, not even realizing it. My desire is that this book enriches my readers. Grace, when it is understood and applied in practice, carries the strength and ability to change the life of every person.
Chapter 1 Grace: the opposite of what we think or feel the only reliable source from which we can draw knowledge about what grace is, is the Word of God. Grace is like something unusual, as if coming to us from another planet. It is so unusual for our everyday thoughts, ordinary emotional reactions and associations, which cannot come from any natural human thinking. God himself in his supernatural book, the Bible, introduces us to face the grace, and also determines and explains it in detail.
