Chord quartet biography
It began with the fact that in the year four girls Zoya Kulikova, Inna Myasnikova, Ella Olkhovskaya and Rosa Romanovskaya, who graduated from the department of the Khorovik conductors at the Moscow Conservatory, created the Women's Vocal Quartet, which received the invitation to participate in the First Step program, and the young composer Yuri Saulsky in CDRI. In the summer of the year, the Quartet worked with the E.
Reselner orchestra in the Hermitage Garden, then with the orchestra O. Lundstrem, who had just arrived from Kazan to Moscow. Gurchenko during the VI World Festival of Youth and Students in Moscow ended up in the same hostel with the men's quarter of the Georgian Polytechnic Institute, led by engineer Shot Harabadze. Soon Zoya Kulikova became Zoe Harabadze, a vocal duet arose.
Inna Myasnikova Mezzo -Soprano joined them on the recommendation of the composer V. In each song, the nature of the sound, the color of the voices, the combination of timbres, generously used mobile rhythmic and dynamic strokes changed. Over the six years spent with this team, vocal and jazz skills were improved. They listened to foreign jazz plates that Lundstrem had at them. From the year, the records begin to record, the first “giant” “Golden Blood” at the festival in Cannes came out in the year. In the year, the quartet leaves Lundstrem and begins to concert on his own, working at VGKO, participating in prefabricated concerts, speaking a department, giving full concerts.
Three months, together with the Moscow Music Hall, worked in Paris, daily performances, rehearsals did not even allow to visit the concert of the Beatles who performed somewhere nearby. Intensive foreign tours began - Europe, Africa, Asia, Latin America 46 countries, songs were brought from everywhere, the best replenished the repertoire along with the songs of the leading Soviet composers.
In the year with the departure of I. Myasnikova, in connection with her departure to the United States, the Accord quartet ceased to exist.
