The sports career of the year, when Dmitry was 16, he and Catherine took first place at the European Championship among juniors. Things were going well at international championships. Soloviev set himself a clear task: the first goal is to get to the European Championship and the World Cup.

I couldn’t even think about the Olympic Games, because there was a serious competition in Russia. The first Olympiad for many athletes is always super -stress. Already to subsequent competitions and olympiads, you are morally ready. You know that this will be the most difficult stage of a sports career. You know that there you will leave all your strength and emotions. And after the Olympics, you will come to your senses for a long time.

The first time Dmitry and Catherine participated in the Olympic Games in the year and took only 17th place. At the Sochi Olympics in the year in the team standings, the skaters earned “gold”, after which Dmitry received the title of Honored Master of Sports of Russia. When the baby was born, the skater himself was almost a child, but jumped with joy, becoming a father. Sasha inherited from his parents a love of skates and was engaged in hockey.

After the incident, the skater was taken to the emergency room, and then the Botkin hospital, where it turned out that the athlete has a traumatic brain injury that could destroy Dmitry’s dreams of returning to great sport.
