Addiction to alcohol, throwing, so characteristic of geniuses, forced Yesenin to perform rather strange, irrational, and sometimes monstrous acts. We have collected only some of the scandalous stories associated with it.

With her, Yesenin not only made an official marriage, but also married. True, neither such a serious step, nor even the birth of two children influenced the sad ending of this union. There are two versions of the separation of Reich and Yesenin: according to the first, the poet left a pregnant artist, preferring to family life drunkenness and dubious amusements.

According to the second, Zinaida herself escaped from her husband, unable to withstand constant quarrels, scenes of jealousy and beatings. One way or another, Sergey Yesenin did not bother to raising the offspring, this function was successfully performed by the second husband, theater director Vsevolod Meyerhold. He married a woman who was 18 years older that Sergey Yesenin was married to the American dancer Isadore Duncan and this marriage ended tragically, everyone knows, but quite a bit is known about the details of the Star Union.

The poet met his muse in the beginning of the X, and after a few months the couple officially formalized the relationship. Such a step for Isadora, by the way, became a real feat - the dancer was the opponent of marriage. She was older than Yesenin for as many as 18 years, took place in life and in the profession and did not need her husband at all in a traditional understanding for that time.

However, the bully and the madness made an indelible impression on Duncan. Witnesses claimed that literally a few minutes after meeting at the dinner, Isadora was already at the sofa, and Yesenin was standing near Prima on his knees. She stroked the poet on the head and repeated the only phrase known to her in Russian: "Golden Head." By the way, I did not learn the native language of my husband Isador, so the couple could not fully communicate.

Moreover, quite soon, Esenin returned to the usual way of life: drank, arranged grandiose scandals and even beat his wife. The marriage broke up without lasting two years. The scandalous tricks became rowdy, hooligan and the anti -Semite became a literally business card of Sergei Yesenin: drunken rowing in restaurants, fights with the police that, by the way, the poet was panicky, insults of special services and anti -Semitic statements.

Only during his stay in Moscow, thirteen criminal cases were instituted on him. Not without an unpleasant incident, even in the USA. In his own creative evening organized by Leib, Yesenin recited the “country of villains”, where “Jew” said “Jew” instead of the word “Jew”. Despite the attempts by Isadora Duncan and impresario to smooth the situation, the case ended with the usual brawl.

Attempts by the young artist to expel completely intoxicated writers were unsuccessful - and the administrator had to call the police hated by Yesenin. At the sight of the guardians of the order, the poet rushed to fly from them along the confusing corridors of the small, generously distributing cubes to everyone who came across in his way, but in the end he was caught, twisted and expelled from the theater.

He quarreled with Mayakovsky more than once in the years of the names of both poets thundered throughout the country, so there is nothing surprising in the fact that inherently fiery competition flared up between Mayakovsky and Yesenin. So, for example, Yesenin said that he did not want to share Russia with such as Mayakovsky, the same answered: “Take it to yourself.

Eat it with bread. ” They could not agree on a “right” poetic form. Yesenin attributed himself to the new movement of the “Imazhinists” then, whose distinctive feature was the creation of images in which the traditional meaning of words changed. Mayakovsky, on the other hand, was in the ranks of avant -garde and futurists who completely turned the traditional concept of poetic form.

It is interesting that at the same time both writers unconditionally recognized the opponent’s talent, which, however, did not prevent them from striking towards each other and bring the matter almost to the brawl. He escaped from his wife, having previously cleaned all the accounts of Yesenin’s last wife, the granddaughter of another great writer - Leo Tolstoy. Sophia, brought up according to the rules of high society, although she connected her life with a whistle poet, so to the end she could not accept either his cool disposition or dubious addictions.He, in turn, did not want to put up with the arrogance of his wife and fanatical, according to the classic himself, following the norms of etiquette.

It is not surprising that in the end and the third family of Yesenin, traditional quarrels began. According to the official version, he was not at all happy with such a development of events, but against the backdrop of alcoholism he developed a mental disorder and medical care was needed for him. According to the second, Yesenin went to the hospital on his own, hiding after the next rod from the police.

One way or another, he soon fled from the hospital, withdrew all the money from the bills, and, taking care of his family, left for Leningrad. A few days later, the poet was found hanged in a hotel room. Happy or not the fierce disputes about the death of the poet do not subside to this day. According to the official version, Sergey Yesenin committed suicide. Judging by the documents, there were no signs of violent death, and besides, shortly before his death, the poet wrote the poem “Goodbye, my friend, to the dating”, using his own blood for this purpose.

Yesenin himself explained such an act by the lack of ink. Later, however, the manuscript began to be considered a farewell note. In favor of this version, multiple abrasions and hematomas on the body of the dead man who the investigating authorities chose not to notice, as well as the request of the poet, addressed to the porter on the eve of the death, do not let anyone into the room - its researchers often interpret as possible killers.
