My guitar is a copy of the instrument of the 10ths. In general, I have four tools, including this one. And they are all different. Although there are musicians who have dozens of them.
But this is clearly too much. I also use nylon imitation of residential strings. For many centuries, after all, they played on strings made from animal dried intestines. I tried to play such, but it did not go. There is a lot of troubles: problems of building, durability, constant observance of certain humidity and temperature regime. In addition, they are very expensive ... Therefore, I switched to imitation, very similar in sound and tactile sensations.
In the view of most ordinary people, it is silver that are considered the standard. And, it turns out, it is cooler than their sort of that, more associated, excuse me, with a liver sausage ...-In fact, a braid of bass strings can be made of pure silver, but the phrase “silver strings” is, rather, a common poetic metaphor, like a “golden voice” or “blue bird of luck”. We are as a kind of sect, only in the good sense of the word. True, this closeness, it does not lead to anything good. The task of festivals, such as the “classic guitar in the 21st century,” is to expand the audience towards an unprepared public.
